Our Vision

We envision a world where children in foster care are not treated as an afterthought. MAKS is dedicated to creating a permanent space that celebrates, protects, and uplifts our most vulnerable youth—a place where every child feels safe, seen, and cherished.

 

We envision preventative services becoming standard, enabling more families to stay together. A safe and collaborate space in the community where visitations between siblings can occur.

 

A place where foster families can come together for educational training and support groups.

 

As we grow from shared spaces into a permanent home of our own, our building will stand as part of the community representing permanency. A place where children are treated with dignity and respect. Where they can always feel worthy of love, healing, and hope.
